A Special 70th Birthday Celebration

When Mundy bought the house in 2023, he had one bold goal: host his mother Mary Miller’s birthday here the following summer. The catch? The house needed a full renovation, and the party was already in the calendar for July 2024. Invitations were out. The clock was ticking.

Friends (and builders) raised eyebrows, but with the help of his family and a brilliant local team, the dream became reality - just in time. And what a way to open the doors. Fifty friends and family arrived for a sun-soaked weekend of music, food, and celebration - the very first party at Maison Garcin.

The bedrooms were ready (just!), the grass wasn’t so we rolled out rattan matting for the drinks reception. Dinner was served at a long table outside the house under the stars. It was simple, joyful, and full of love - the kind of evening this house was made for.
