The Renovation - 2023 - 2024

The house, orchard, gardens, and wider park was brought back to life over two years of renovation and hard work - a true labour of love led by Mundy, with the help of an exceptional local business Pignon Gascon (run and owned by husband-and-wife Andrew and Jo Nadin), and the help of Mundy's family and a great many generous friends.

From sanding beams, tossing bathtubs out of first floor windows, to choosing paint by lamplight, and Mundy's brother falling into the old sewage system, it was a collaborative effort rooted in care, patience, and shared vision. The result is a home that feels both thoughtful and lived-in - full of stories, and ready to welcome new ones.
